COMPUTER
The internet offers lots of interesting, helpful, and creative content, exploring can be daunting and maybe a little bit scary. Come wander around the internet to places we have already checked out and know will be safe for you. Join in on the wealth of information and experiences at your fingertips. We will look at some websites. Try some software. Check out some AI tools.
If you want a more specific tour based on your interests book a one on one session to get a tour of the internet, your computer and some lessons specific to what your interests are or the help you need. Maybe it is as simple as how to tidy up your files or inbox, maybe you need help with setting up a family calendar or a data base for your family reunion or maybe you want to sort out all your pictures and clean out all the duplicates. For all these, plus more stick around to see what we find on the internet or give us a call to talk about what you need help with.
Mission 2026-03 Explore Earth
Check out Google Earth!
Its a free app that lets you explore the world without expensive airfare and miles of walking. You can find the app on the Microsoft Store or on your Google Chrome Browser.
Mission Objective
Learn to use the controls to zoom around your town, country or the planet! Check out the expanse from high above or zoom in for a closer look. You can even sneak all the way up to the front door sometimes! Sometimes you will find links to take inside tours! Zoom around inside Grand Central Station in NYC or visit botanical gardens around the world. Its a great way to practice mouse control and the curious or accidental clicking is safe!
Mission Reporting
